Tom’s leadership journey began at the United States Naval Academy, where he developed a strong foundation in teamwork, discipline, and problem-solving. Following his commission in the United States Marine Corps, he managed high-stakes operations and financial portfolios exceeding $700 million, earning a reputation for precision, trust, and transformational leadership.

Throughout his career, Tom has excelled in guiding teams through complex challenges, improving operational efficiencies, and driving sustainable growth. His ability to align people, strategy, and execution has made him a trusted leader across military and business environments.

Zach Lewis
Principal
Zachary Lewis is a problem-solver, strategist, and engineer with a reputation for precision, resilience, and leadership in complex environments. As co-founder of 8th Wing Partners, Zach applies his analytical mindset and operational expertise to acquiring and growing businesses with thoughtful stewardship and long-term vision.

From an early age, Zach cultivated a strong work ethic and commitment to service, shaped by his upbringing in a tight-knit rural community where teamwork and helping others were fundamental values. His passion for innovation and strategic thinking led him to the United States Naval Academy, where he graduated top of his class in Astronautical Engineering. He later earned a prestigious Bowman Scholarship, completing advanced research in rocket propulsion at the Naval Postgraduate School.

Zach’s leadership was further refined in the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Force, where he directed mission-critical nuclear operations, security programs, and high-stakes technical initiatives. His ability to lead under pressure, optimize efficiency, and drive transformation earned him recognition at the highest levels of Naval leadership, ensuring the success of both his crews and missions.
